Terms and Conditions

Apartment booking and payment

  • Once you have check the availability of the apartment and filled-in the personal information form, you'll have to pay the reservation price. This payment will be made by credit card using our secure server payment system.
  • The remaining part of the payment will be paid in by transfer bank or credit card upon arrival to the apartment.
  • Your booking is not confirmed until Selected Rentals receives the pre-payment, and you have received the confirmation e-mail from us.
  • This confirmation email contains all your booking details such as the address of the apartment, contact details, balance due on arrival, and other arrival and departure instructions.

Cancelation

  • All cancellations or changes must be made via e-mail. Cancellations or changes by phone are not accepted.
  • The pre-paid booking deposit will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
  • In the event that the guest changes the dates or apartment, it will be considered a new booking and will be subject to the standard cancellation procedures.
  • If Selected Rentals is not able to provide the client with the booked property, the client will be informed and will be offered a new property with similar features. If both parties are not able to reach an agreement, the client will be refunded the amount paid, and the contract will be canceled.

Arrival

Please call your person of contact when you arrive to the airport (or one hour before arriving to the city, if you are not traveling by plane) we´ll be waiting you in the apartment. The name and phone number of your contact person from Selected Rentals will be included in the booking confirmation e-mail.

The apartment will be available from 15:00h, however we will always try to accommodate as soon as possible arriving early guests.

There is a late check-in fee of 30€ for arrivals after 21:00h. 50 € for arrivals after 00:00am.

Departure

You should leave the apartment before or at 11:00am. If you need to leave later you should talk about it to the person of contact upon arrival. We will try to meet your request if we do not have an early arrival the following day.

Deposit

Upon arrival guests will be asked to provide a damage deposit as well as a valid credit card number as guarantee for the apartment and its content for any damages caused.

Please note that by accepting our Terms and Conditions you agree that any damages caused by you or your accompanying party will be deducted from your damage deposit, and that you will also be liable for any excess damages.

This damage deposit should be paid in cash and will be returned to you when you return the keys the day of your departure.

Apartment cleaning

The apartment will have been cleaned prior to guests arrival and should be in perfect hygienic conditions. Please inform your person of contact if you notice something is not correct.

Before leaving, the client is obliged to leave the apartment in perfect conditions, i.e. all waste should be correctly disposed of and the apartment tidied.

Number and identity of guests

The client should inform Selected Rentals of the number of guests when making the booking.

Unless an alternative agreement with Selected Rentals, only those persons indicated in the booking made by the client may enter the apartment.

Pets are not allowed unless permission has been specifically granted by Selected Rentals.

The number of clients using the apartment should not exceed the number assigned to each apartment.

Should the client fail to comply with any of the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Selected Rentals reserves the right to ask the client to leave the apartment, and the client in question can not request any form of compensation.

Behaviour

The client, on signing the contract at check-in agrees to behave responsibly and correctly on behalf of their accompanying party as well as themselves.

Please remember that parties, loud music and noise that could trouble the neighbours are strictly prohibited.

If this person, or any of the accompanying party behaves in an unsuitable and incorrect manner, Selected Rentals reserves the right to ask the person and their accompanying party to leave the apartment. Furthermore, from that moment on they will have no right to future claims or any form of compensation. Finally, the client will lose all payments made including the apartment rental and the deposit..

Liability

Neither Selected Rentals nor the owner will be held responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused to the apartment as consequence of use by the client. This includes damages, insurance, loss due to fire, theft, and misconduct.

In the event that the client fails to comply with the aforementioned Terms and Conditions, Selected Rentals reserves the right to ask the client to leave the apartment, and the client in question can not request any form of compensation.

Personal Data Protection Act

In accordance with that set forth under current legislation as regards Personal Data Protection, you are hereby informed and accept that your data will be included in an automated file held by Selected Rentals, S.L. for the sole purposes of carrying out requested administration. You may contact Selected Rentals, S.L. to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or opposition according to law by writing to this address: Pillotegi Kalea 12, 20018 - San Sebastián, or to the email address: info@selectedrentals.com

You also expressly authorise Selected Rentals, S.L. to provide your personal data to collaborators and banking institutions in order to comply with this contract and for the purposes of invoicing and fund collection, respectively.
